NAVA Point
NAVA, short for the Hungarian equivalent for National Audiovisual Archives, is the legal depository body for Hungarian broadcasters, collecting audiovisual content by default. NAVA collects Hungarian-made or Hungarian-related programmes by national terrestrial television and radio broadcasters. NAVA also accommodates programmes from local broadcasters or any other audiovisual archives to contribute to the preservation of audiovisual content as part of the cultural heritage.
NAVA, as a special service, provides statutory online access to the collection; the archive database is searchable and the programmes in the archives can be viewed in their full length at the so-called NAVA points (referring to terminals available in libraries, schools etc.).
NAVA services are free of charge.
Our library functions as a NAVA point, programmes in the archive can be viewed in their full length.
